[Mentors (now including Caspian and excluding Regina) & Escorts]
I just wanted to let you all know that I've received official word from someone the Gamemakers.
Caspian will be taking over for Regina until further notice. He is now officially a mentor. Isn't that exciting?

I'm going to demand some answers. We have interviews coming up, she had better be back tomorrow. [Escorts & Stylists]
Did you see the commotion at the party?
It's as if they're trying to ensure I don't win twice in a row!

We're going to dinner together, you and me. You remember my friend Aphrodite? I'm trying to set her up with Caspian. We're going to spy.
And has Dido been returning any of your calls? I'm worried about her.

[District 6 minus tributes]
Now team, we have a few things to discuss. I'm a little concerned with your attitutes lately. If we want to become the first district to have two wins in a row, you really should be trying to get them more excited about going into the arena.
It is an honor, after all, and you shouldn't forget that. [Caspian]
Caspian dear, I have a few people I'd like you to meet. [Shynnah]
You would think they'd be more excited about having a winner.

Well, that ends her walk down the aisle, it seems!
Still, I can scarcely believe SIX had two tributes in the top six! Which is, of course, more than we can say of District 4. Perhaps you're re-thinking your transfer, Shynnah? It's too bad though, since I don't think I'm budging anytime soon.

That was just spectacular! I was getting my nails done when it happened and nearly ruined them from excitement!
I've always loved kills like Columbia's. It's the surprising ones that thrill me most, when you see someone who just isn't a killer want so desperately to win that they do it. And they can't believe it. It just says something about the human spirit, doesn't it?
That's what the Games are really about.

Darlings, I would like to know what you have been doing lately for our tributes. I would like to formulate a better strategy, please. I love that there has been a death every day so far. I hope today will not disappoint!

[Escorts, Stylists & Prep Teams]
If you know me at all (which some of you don't, how sorry for you), you will know how much I just love betting on the Games. Last year we had a rather festive round of betting, though sadly no one was able to guess the bonus question. Really, the machete was much more exciting than a knife or spear anyhow.
So, let's take out our pocketbooks, shall we? Like always, each category has a $100 buy-in, $90 of which goes to the pot. To double your chances of picking the right tribute, money is placed on the district rather than the tribute. Multiple people can put money on any given district; the pot is divided up between the winners. If no district meets the category criteria, everyone keeps their money, save the $10. If multiple districts meet the criteria, only the first to meet it will win. You don't have to bet on every category, and you may also change your bets (but not pull out) once up until the day the Games begin.
Now, the categories:
- First to die
- First to kill
- First to die after the bloodbath at the Cornucopia
- First Career death
- First to kill the other Tribute from their district
- Suicide, whether accidental or (Heaven Forbid) purposeful
- First death by Gamemaker design (excluding Muttations)
- First death by Muttation
- Last to die
- And, of course, Victor.
And if you are wondering what the $10 from each buy-in is for, it goes to the bonus category, which has no buy-in. Anyone can bet on that one.
Bonus: How does the Victor kill the last tribute? Closest answer gets it!
Comment here with your bets, and I'll be collecting the money. Hopefully this will get all your minds off Shynnah

Shynnah, how did you deal with Nyx? You are a saint, I swear. He even makes Till look bearable.

Boy do I wish that Dido and I had planned tomorrow's party for yesterday. It would have been much better if we'd all been able to watch my dear Ellis. I'm horribly disappointed - it would have been such a great story for her to follow in her father's footsteps as a victor.
Still, can't wait to see you all tomorrow night!
[Danna]
Danna dear, let me know if there's anything you need.

All I can think about these days is how proud Trevor must be of his daughter. Not only that she's in the Games, but that she's in the top twelve! What an honor.
I just miss him every day.

[Escorts & Stylists]
Well well well! Things are quite interesting these days with our little betting pool. I'm pleased to say that both Elektra and Dido have won $720 already, while Jovi and Cloelia have won $360 each.
Hopefully there will be more winners, for I'd hate to return so much money to everyone because no one guessed right. [Dido]
Everything seems like it might be coming to a head soon - we have so many little packs and one of these days they're going to all run into each other. I think we may be having our party soon - at least I hope so! [Danna]
So what are you planning for helping Ellis out of this little bind? And what more can I do?! My darling Ellis! I'm worried sick about her! I'm rather impressed with the Gamemakers (like always) but I wish it hadn't happened to my own tribute.
Regardless, I'm sure she'll be able to recover from it. She is a victor's daughter after all, and I think it's pretty clear to everyone how resourceful she is. I can barely take my eyes from the screen!

That wasn't planned, was it? How am I ever going to explain this to our Sponsors?? I can't decide if I should be upset about poor darling Bron or amazed at little Ellis! She's certainly showed her tenacity. She's Victor material, that one. I think anyone can see that.

I can't believe it's tomorrow already! I hope everyone else is as excited as I am! Well, I'm sure the Tributes are. I simply can't imagine how exciting it must be to know the day they've been waiting for is finally here after so long! What an honor!
You are all just so lucky! Ha

I am so proud of you two. I know you will make me look great out there. And hopefully I'll be able to work with one of you next year. Well look at that! I knew they had it in them, even if others didn't.
Oh, and for those of you who were waiting until the scores came out to place your wager, make sure you do it soon!

I'm worried about Bron. For the record, I am not a ghost. Honestly. It's called fashion and it's not my fault if some of you don't understand the concept.

[Mentors/Victors & Support Staff]
I can't believe the parade is over already. Every year it goes by so quickly! One day I'm reading names and it feels like barely another day has gone by before the games have started. And I've got the loveliest little two Tributes this year. I'm practically in love - it will be so sad to watch at least one of them die. [Danna]
Let's talk to Bron over breakfast tomorrow, yes? The first day of training is nearly complete, it's amazing! You would think this means I get a break, but of course not. You may not know it, little Tributes, but for a good Escort this is the busiest time as we try to get you all sponsorship. We'll seeeeee! If you're good, you might be getting a lot of those little silver parachutes over the course of the games!
